1 Day Kayaking Nam Ha River-Nature Explore, River Challenge & Nam Ha NPA
Trip Overview:
Nam Ha River is worldwide well known about kayaking in Luang Namtha, Northern of Laos, adventure rapid and whitewater, amazing scenery along the river, Kayaks through the middle of Nam Ha NPA, picnic lunch next to the bank of the river, taste fresh local food in organic vegetable from the wild, discovery some villages which include multi-culture of minority group.

ITINERARY. Approx. 5-6 hours.
We meet at the office for 8:00 am heading to kayaking start point at Ban Tasae, then get some basic instructions on kayaking techniques and safety before we begin paddle downriver through the agriculture land of Khmu people, almost immediately, we find ourselves surrounded by lush tropical forest fishing high from the riverbank on either side. On the river we encounter a series of rapids, all set against the backdrop of stunning natural beauty. First stop is in Khmu village of Ban Nalan, followed by the Lantan village, Ban Namkoy. At each village we have the opportunity to meet the local people and learn about their way of life. Lunch will be stop on the way. And after lunch, continue downriver the current alternates between periods of calm, we may see some wildlife between tackling rapids or whitewater. We will end the trip at Houaylued village at around 4:00pm and take Tuk Tuk back to the office.
Note: Nam Ha is best for Kayaking from July to Nov. Low water levels from December-June may make kayaking rocky.
